SPRING 2012 CHAMBER CHAMPION

Bill Chrismer, head sweeper and storyteller at GQ Barber Lounge, was named the spring 2012 Chamber Champion at the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors’ meeting on April 12, 2012. This award, given quarterly, recognizes a member who has shown outstanding commitment and contribution to the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce.

Chrismer hosted the Colorado Business MarketPlace at Business After Hours in October 2011 at Exdo Event Center. The MarketPlace was the largest in Denver Metro Chamber history, with more than 650 guests and 40 exhibitors marketing their products and services. Chamber members noshed on caviar, salmon, filet mignon, pork tenderloin and various desserts – all washed down by champagne and cocktails. Meanwhile, a runway show featuring American Crew models boasting fall haircuts by GQ Barber Lounge hairstylists gave attendees a sneak peek at the must-have looks for spring.

Chrismer is a current participant in the CEO Exchange program, and GQ Barber Lounge is a gold sponsor of that program. He will also be graduating from the Chamber 101 program in May 2012. Chrismer has recruited GQ Barber Lounge staff to participate in the Manager Exchange program. Chrismer and his employees are frequent attendees of Denver Metro Small Business Development Center business trainings as well as Gold Program events.

Since purchasing GQ Barber Lounge in 2004, Chrismer has dedicated his time and energies to elevating male grooming and guest care to a new standard. Congratulations, Bill, on winning this well-deserved award!
