The Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce and Denver Metro Small Business Development Center (SBDC) have joined
forces to provide business training seminars and programs
to the Denver Metro business community. Our seminars are one of our most popular services, attracting more than 2,000 individuals annually. The trainings offered through the DMCC and SBDC are tailored to meet the needs of small- and medium-sized business owners and employees in both the start-up and growth phases. The individuals who attend our programs are business owners and employees who receive practical information, tools, and resources that they can immediately apply in their businesses or on their jobs. All of our presenters are currently operating in their field of expertise and provide concrete, "how-to" information rather than high-level theory.

  • FastTrac GrowthVenture: 11-week program for established businesses to help tweak, streamline, and jumpstart the profitability of your business (Fall 2012)

  • NxLeveL for Entrepreneurs: 12-week business planning course for start-up businesses (Spring 2012)

  • NxLeveL for Creatives: 12-week business planning course for creative businesses (Fall 2012)

  • NxLeveL for Veterans: 12-week business planning course for veteran-owned businesses (Spring 2012)

  • Strategic Business Analysis: This program matches business owners with Metropolitan State College of Denver School of Business students to increase the profitability and competitiveness of your business (Spring 2012)

  • Focus on Business: Hosted by Tameka Montgomery, executive director of the Denver Metro SBDC, Focus on Business is a candid conversation and Q&A session with the founders of Colorado's most successful companies (August 2011)

  • Growth Catalyst Business Coaching Program: A 9-month business coaching program to help you build a foundation to implement your 3-5 year vision (January 2012)

  • Feasibility Study: Potential entrepreneurs are teamed up with students from Johnson & Wales University to test the feasibility of their business start-up idea (Fall 2012)

  • Main Street Mentors Walk: A 3K walk around City Park where successful business owners (mentors) are matched with early stage entrepreneurs (mentees) to walk and talk business (August 2012)
     
  • Latino Small Business Summit: Denver's only bilingual business conference focused on bringing together Latino business owners of all sizes from various industries connecting them with an array of powerful resources to help them develop and grow their enterprises (October 2011)
