YOUR INSIDE LOOK INTO THE DENVER METRO CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
Chamber 101 is an action plan to get up-and-coming business leaders involved in the activities of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce, Denver metro business community and local nonprofits. The program serves as a unique way for professionals to gain an inside view of the Chamber and also give back to the community through volunteerism.
This is an exclusive Chamber member program for individuals who show promise as the future leadership of metro Denver. Participants will gain valuable knowledge about the Chamber, have the opportunity for high-level networking, gain access to exclusive programs and more. Through the Chamber’s partnership with local nonprofits, participants will also have an opportunity to give back to the community through volunteer services. If accepted, the cost to participate is $101.00 for the year. Participants are chosen through an application process and space is limited for this hand-selected program.
In order to complete the Chamber 101 program, participants will work in teams headed by Chamber Ambassadors; highly involved Chamber members who participate in numerous Chamber programs and serve as representatives for the Chamber at numerous events. Ambassadors will mentor participants both in their completion of a checklist of Chamber activities and in the participant’s contribution to a local nonprofit organization. Participation includes completing the list of Chamber activities, attending quarterly program meetings, and meeting monthly with a smaller networking group within the program.
Activities on the checklist include:
Although participants must be a Chamber member to participate, all membership levels and ages are welcome. The 5-month program kicks off twice a year - once in January and again in August.
June 4 - Applications open
August 14 - Kickoff, 5:30-7 p.m.
October 9 - Program meeting, 5:30-7 p.m.

After completing Chamber 101, participants are encouraged to apply for the Chamber Ambassadors program to continue to build leadership skills and a strong business network. Past Chamber 101 graduates are eligible to apply to be a Chamber 101 leader through the Ambassador program. Learn more at www.denverchamber.org/page/ambassadors.
